Inez, TX – Calvin Kuykendall Killed in Accident on US-59 | Rasansky Law Firm

Inez, TX (April 2, 2020) – One man lost his life after a collision on Wednesday evening.

At around 5:08 p.m., on April 1, 58-year-old Tammie Hermans was traveling north along US Highway 59 in a 2012 Chevrolet Colorado when her vehicle collided with a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer at the intersection with Farm to Market Road 1686.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, who was identified as 69-year-old Calvin Kuykendall, sustained fatal injuries in the collision. He was immediately declared deceased at the scene.

Hermans was injured in the crash and transported in Citizens Medical Center for treatment.

At this time, the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
