CVSA’s Statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19) - CVSA - Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance

An outbreak of the coronavirus acute respiratory disease (Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCoV/COVID-19) was first detected in December 2019 and has since rapidly spread throughout the world. The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) holds meetings and events throughout the year at various locations throughout North America. As near-constant updates are provided on the coronavirus pandemic, CVSA wants to provide an update to the membership and the public on our upcoming meetings and events.

At this time, the CVSA Workshop is still scheduled to take place. Currently, the Alliance is not cancelling or postponing that event; however, in the meantime, we are allowing anyone who wishes to cancel their registration to do so without penalty.

If you registered for the workshop and would like to cancel your registration and receive a full refund, contact CVSA to request a refund. If you made hotel reservations, contact the hotel directly to cancel your room.

The health and safety of our members is our top priority; therefore, will be closely observing the coronavirus outbreak and will carefully consider all information and updates from reputable sources.

If the decision is made to postpone or cancel any events, CVSA will immediately notify all registrants and sponsors, refund registration fees and sponsorships without penalty, and close registration and sponsorship for those affected meetings or events. The Alliance will also send an email notifying the membership and post a message on the website.

For more information or if you have any questions, contact CVSA.
